What Does It Mean to Follow Jesus?
At first glance, following Jesus may sound simple, but it can be a confusing concept for many. In essence, following Jesus involves:

It really is that straightforward. When we follow Jesus, we make a commitment to surrender ourselves to Him, aligning our lives with His example and placing our relationship with Him above our personal desires. It’s a life-changing decision to be taken seriously—but what exactly does that mean?
Following Jesus is a personal choice—one that each of us must make through faith. It’s not about religion, denomination, or rituals, though various traditions may interpret it differently. Jesus is not reserved for a select group. God intended His Son to be for everyone, regardless of nationality, background, or status.

The answer lies in surrender. It requires giving our all—regardless of who we are or where we come from—to the One who gave His all for us. As John 3:16-17 tells us:
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him."
